Every creature has a name and a story

Meet the residents.

Not just cats. Not just the cute ones. Every animal that ends up here gets care, patience, and a name — no exceptions. Here's who you're protecting when you give.

Cheeto
Bean's sister

Cheeto

Bean's littermate and his most loyal companion. She's been here since day one and has watched the sanctuary grow from a single cat to a houseful of rescued souls. Part of the family before we even knew we were a sanctuary.

Night
Reformed feral

Night

He arrived hissing, terrified, and absolutely certain we were a threat. Months of patience later, he's the biggest teddy bear in the house — seeking pets, napping in laps, and proving that trust can be rebuilt even after the worst start.

Spicy
Resident grump

Spicy

Mean to everyone, for absolutely no reason, at all times. She bites, she hisses, she judges. We love her unconditionally anyway — because that's the whole point of this place. Not just the easy ones.

The Ferals

Two unnamed ferals we're socializing one slow, trust-building day at a time. They have no names yet — names come when they're ready to let us close enough to deserve one. That's the rule here. We wait as long as it takes.

🕷️
Jumping spider

Spooky

A jumping spider who is, ironically, scared of absolutely everything. Tiny, curious, surprisingly expressive, and completely beloved by everyone who meets her. Yes, she has a full name. Yes, she has a whole personality.

Summer guests 🦋

The Monarchs

Every summer we take in monarch butterflies born with wing deformities — they can't fly, which means the outdoors is a death sentence. They live here, safe and warm, until the end of their natural lives. They're loved here. Every single one of them.

The Birds

When cats injure birds in our care, we take full responsibility and nurse them back to health ourselves. We don't look away. Every life in this house matters — even the ones that arrived by accident. Especially those.

These animals need your help — now.

Every donation goes directly to keeping this home alive. Rent, food, vet care, Bean's surgery. That's it.
